In order to provide a unique value to its partners, Intrepid Consulting has created the CIO/Startup Summit. This is an impactful event that provides a unique opportunity for direct and personal interaction between corporate CIOs/CTOs and leaders of cutting edge and innovative Silicon Valley technology firms. On an invitation only basis, CIOs and CTOs from large corporations around the globe spend a concentrated day-and-a-half in San Francisco meeting and learning the plans of CEOs and senior leaders of venture backed information technology companies. They engage in a structured discussion that provides the IT leaders insights into new, game changing technologies coming to market, including technologies they can take advantage of in their companies. It also provides the startups with real market feedback regarding their product concepts, features, benefits and target markets, as well as laying the groundwork for potential commercial discussions. The first Startup Summit was held in October 2013 in Napa, California and was a smashing success, and has since been held on a quarterly basis.
